Hello community. Today is a review of the Heras data leak. A few words about the company itself: “Heras (founded in 1952) is an end-to-end supplier of permanent and mobile perimeterprotection solutions. They design, manufacture, install and service temporary and permanent perimeter protection solutions for customers across business, community and industry sectors. Heras UK corporate office is located in Apex Building 1 Water Vole Way, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 5JP, United Kingdom and has 6 employees. The total amount of data leakage is 393.14 GB.” Data leaks include personal data of employees, access to work accounts, email, corporate photographs, product specifications, certificates, licenses, planned developments, projects, drawings, presentations and samples, company audits, financial statements, accounting, invoices payment, documentation of partner companies and regular customers, data on imports and exports, supply volumes and contracts, personal data of clients, including contact numbers. Apparently, the manufacturer aimed all its potential at protecting other people’s perimeters and completely forgot about the safety of the perimeter of its own database.
